A cracking win for us with vafortino last Saturday. That made it two Saturday big race winners in a row as we look for the hat trick this afternoon.
Red Vineyard looks a few points overpriced on the form of his win over Al Qareem at Sandown in April. The runner up Al Qareem won at York this week having previously held Mr Big Stuff over 10f at Nottingham. Red Vineyard was raised 5lbs by the handicapper to 83 for his Sandown Win. He is sure to have come forward for that first run of the season and will stay this trip strongly having won up the hill at Sandown.
Newbury is a big galloping track with a long straight so the winner will need to stay well. Tom Marquand rides for trainer combo William Muir & Chris Grassick. Israr looks more of an out and out galloper without a turn of foot. Mr Big Stuff has his chance if able to improve off his Nottingham defeat while Surrey Mist might just lack for experience in his first handicap at this level.
